To achieve
our quality of work, we can only use the best raw materials.
If we are creating new wood
for you, we select the finest kilndried timber, perfectly
balanced for moisture content to ensure it remains stable
when fitted to your car. To this we apply the veneer of
your choice, either form our own stocks or sourced from
the best veneer wholesalers in the UK to your exact specification.
We finish with tough, flexible lacquer, applied under "clean
room" conditions to ensure a perfect, high gloss finish.
If we are restoring or renovating
your woodwork, we painstakingly strip it back and, if necessary,
repair the base wood to ensure a perfect solid foundation.
We replace any missing or damaged veneer, taking great care
to make the match invisible to the naked eye. We then finish
it in period; our detailed knowledge of the history of car
woodwork and hands on experience with cars 1909 to 1999
result in not just a stunning piece of craftsmanship, but
one totally appropriate to the period of your vehicle.
